Lighted Holiday Festival & Courthouse Lighting

The Lighted Holiday Festival will kick off with a the lighting of the Jasper County Courthouse at 6 p.m. Horse drawn carriage rides will be offered on the west side of the square. The event will be hosted by the Newton Chamber of Commerce and Newton Main Street.
The festival will also include a chili cook-off, a holiday shopping market, Santa and Mrs. Clause, and a gift basket giveaway to the winner of the window decorating contest.
