About Us

Mission: To Connect Community & Horticulture

Let the Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens be your nature destination. Spanning across six acres the Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens showcases multiple mixed border beds, two water features, a trellis garden, a gazebo, and over 180 individual trees and shrubs.

The Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is also home to the Daniel J Krumm Horticultural Center that serves as a gathering place for celebrations, receptions, meetings, and educational seminars.

Managed by a non-profit and volunteer board, Project AWAKE, the Newton Arboretum & Botanical Garden has begun a revitalization project of the grounds that will span the next several years. Funding is provided solely from private donations from individuals and businesses, as well as grants from conservation and environmental groups. No tax dollars are used to support the organization.
