The Newton YMCA is a leading nonprofit in Jasper County committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Y is the unparalleled cause for strengthening community because we are the community. With the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as our guide, the Newton YMCA believes that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.

Serving Newton and Jasper County since 1874, the YMCA has become more than a place to work out or swim, it is a community center aimed at improving the quality of life through a variety of programming including youth sports, adult recreational leagues, dance and gymnastics classes, art programs, swimming lessons, nutritional education, group fitness opportunities, full-time child care, after school programs for boys and girls, volunteer opportunities, employment opportunities, community outreach and much more.
