Job Overview
The Specialist, Customer Service provides online and phone support to ensure the satisfaction and retention of Maytag Dairy Farms customers. Their primary responsibility is to interact with customers, address inquiries, resolve issues and complaints, and provide exceptional support through phone calls and emails. This is a seasonal position beginning October 14 through December 31, 2024.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environments
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Play a pivotal role in enhancing company-wide customer service through phone, online, and in-person interactions, taking the lead in troubleshooting retail orders
  • Coordinate order processing and customer interactions with Maytag Dairy Farms
  • Maintain a positive attitude and positive communication within a team atmosphere
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and recordkeeping of customer complaints to maintain traceability
  • Undergo Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and be able to comply with Occupational Safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in all company trainings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent level certification with proven reading, writing, clearly legible handwriting, computer, inter-personal communication and mathematics skills
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Must be computer literate and demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work on teams with frequently changing team members, have strong person to person communication skills, able to communicate across varying platforms, and do so in a manner that facilitates excellent teamwork
  • Act with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safety
  • Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility
